We have begun noting these requests on the Calendar portion of the Events section of this website.

The information provided on the Calendar may be specific, or can just be a general search.

If the event is a published opportunity, we usually provide a direct link for each DVBE to respond.  If the event is a search, the DVBE can contact this office directly.

 

We are aware of the possibility that these requests could be attempts to provide a Good Faith Effort, without the intent to actually contract with a DVBE.  But because the request was the result of a direct contact to this office, we will presume that the request is reasonable, and so post it.

 

Your feedback will be important.  Should we learn that entities that make these requests are not sincere in their effort to find and use DVBEs in their contracting efforts, we will not provide them the same courtesy for future requests.
